V-Ray 3.0 is faster in every way

Faster ray tracing means faster rendering. We accelerated the ray tracing core, so calculations like reflections, refractions, and global illumination resolve quicker. Plus we sped up light sampling, opacity mapping, hair, and volume rendering.

You’ll notice the speed difference the first time you render.

Faster ray tracing with Intel® Embree

To help you render even faster, V-Ray supports Intel's Embree ray tracing kernels. Because Embree speeds up photorealistic rendering, it can cut your render times up to 30%.

Dynamic bucket splitting

Dynamic splitting automatically reduces the size of render buckets to maximize the use of all CPU threads.
